StarTech's StarView IP (SV1100KVMIP) KVM Switch Over IP allows network administrators
to control and monitor server functions from anywhere in the world via IP. The StarView
IP allows you to remotely control a target computer over a TCP/IP network from a
client computer.
Receive remote notification and monitoring alerts of any perceived failure conditions
and keep unauthorized users from finding or accessing the unit with the Startech
SV1100KVMIP’s advanced security features.

StarView IP Features:
- Users can re-boot the hardware, access the BIOS, have full keyboard and mouse
control - as if they are on location.
- Remote access may be achieved by using a java capable web browser or the freeware
VNC viewer utility.
- When configured to monitor a server, the unit will detect, log and alert certain
common failure modes. ie: "Blue Screens", lock-ups, power resets, network and
video problems.
- Two proprietary security modes for use on the public internet; Stealth mode
(cannot be pinged or scanned) and Turtle mode (stops responding after a set number
of unsuccessful login attempts)
